Integrations and automation: what the job involves

Connecting the software a business already uses, such as its website, shop, accounts package, CRM, email and spreadsheets, so data flows between them and repetitive tasks run on their own, using automation platforms or custom code against each system’s API.

How long it takes: A single automation between two well-documented systems can take a day or two; several systems, poor-quality data or software without an API takes much longer.

What jobs on Talqero came to

Not enough comparable jobs yet to publish a range here. Talqero shows a price range only once at least five comparable jobs, agreed prices or offers exist — a range from fewer would describe a handful of jobs, not the market. Post your job and compare the offers you get.

What affects the price

Number of systems and steps in the process
Whether the systems have usable APIs or built-in connectors
Amount and quality of existing data
Off-the-shelf automation platform or custom code
Error handling, monitoring and support needed

What to ask before you choose

Will you assign the copyright in what you make to me in writing, or give me a written licence — and for which uses?
What will you hand over at the end: source files, code, logins and accounts, in my own name?
Will you keep what I share with you confidential, and agree that in writing?
Will the code be kept in a repository and accounts I control from the start?
Will you sign a written data processing agreement if you can reach personal data?
