Why there is no password

There is no password here, and there is not going to be one. You prove an address you can read, or you present a passkey your device holds. A passkey is the stronger of the two and takes a moment to add once you are in.

Lost the phone your key was on?

Use the code by email above. It signs you in as usual, and you can add a key on the device you have now. Nothing is lost with the phone — the address you signed up with is the way back.
