Report illegal content

Anybody can tell us about something on Talqero they believe is illegal — a profile, a task, a review, a photograph — with or without an account.

This is the notice-and-action mechanism of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, Art. 16). A person reads every notice and decides it with written reasons; nothing is decided by a machine.

If you have a Talqero account you can also report a message or a person from inside the app. To challenge a decision we made about you, use the complaints route instead.

Required, so that we can confirm receipt and tell you our decision — except for a notice about child sexual abuse material, which you may send without either (Art. 16(2)(c)).

What happens next

You get a reference straight away and, if you gave an e-mail address, a confirmation of receipt there (Art. 16(4)).

A person reviews the notice, normally within fourteen days, and decides whether to remove or restrict the content. You are told the decision, the reasons, and how to challenge it (Art. 16(5)). The person whose content it is receives a statement of reasons if we restrict it (Art. 17); your name is not given to them unless the notice cannot be handled without it, for example for intellectual property.

If the notice gives reason to suspect a criminal offence that threatens somebody’s life or safety, we tell the Gardaí (Art. 18). If anybody is in danger now, call 112 or 999.

What you send is kept with the notice for six years after it is decided, and used for nothing else. Talqero is operated by Serhii Hnatiuk, an individual (natural person) established in Ireland, trading as Talqero; the privacy notice explains your rights.
