Product photography: what the job involves
Photographing products for an online shop, marketplace listing, menu, catalogue or ads: clean white-background pack shots, styled lifestyle images, or both, in a studio or at your premises, with retouching and files sized for each platform.
How long it takes: A small batch of plain pack shots can often be shot and delivered within a few days; styled sets or large catalogues take longer, with retouching usually the longest part.

What product photography in Ballylanders costs, and why
What jobs on Talqero came to
Not enough comparable jobs yet to publish a range here. Talqero shows a price range only once at least five comparable jobs, agreed prices or offers exist — a range from fewer would describe a handful of jobs, not the market. Post your job and compare the offers you get.
What affects the price
- Number of products and number of images per product
- Plain background or styled lifestyle shots
- Difficult subjects: glass, jewellery, reflective or very large items
- Retouching level
- Usage: website only, or paid advertising and print
- Studio or on location
What to ask before you choose
- Will you assign the copyright in what you make to me in writing, or give me a written licence — and for which uses?
- What will you hand over at the end: source files, code, logins and accounts, in my own name?
- Will you keep what I share with you confidential, and agree that in writing?
- How many edited images, or how long a video, and in which formats?
- For drone work: what is your IAA operator registration number?
What the work usually involves

- Weddings, parties, conferences and launches
- Property photography for sale or rent
- Short promotional videos
- Editing raw footage into a finished video
- Drone photography by a registered operator
What to put in your task
- What is being photographed or filmed, where and when
- How the photos or video will be used
- How many finished images or how long a video you need
- For editing: how much footage there is and in what format
County Limerick in figures
Construction as a whole. The CSO does not publish enterprise counts per trade at county level, so this figure is not a count of any one trade.
